It was demonstrated that sorption affinity of organosilicas to zinc (II) depends on the chemical nature of the side functional groups from the broad edges of grafted molecules of beta-cyclodextrin and is consistent with the theory of strong and weak acids and bases. Carbon nanotubes (CNT) were efficiently functionalized with oxygen heteroatoms via their oxidation in the liquid phase by hydrogen peroxide solution for 15-100 minutes. There was determined quantitative and qualitative composition of functional groups on the surface of CNT. It was found that with increasing oxidation time, the specific surface area of CNT also slightly increases. It was shown that the static exchange capacity is proportional to the oxidation time and increases from 0.19 mg-eq/g in the original multilayered CNT to 1.42 mg-eq/g in multilayered CNT oxidized for 100 min. With hydrolytic polycondensation reaction trifunctional silanes (as functionalizing agents) and tetraethoxysilane (as structuring agent) there were created mono-and bifunctional layers on the surfaces of Fe3O4 nanoparticles. The presence of alkyl groups (methyl or n-propyl) along with amine groups in such layers increase the sorption capacity of the samples on urease. Meanwhile, the introduction of ethylenediamine groups instead of amine groups caused deterioration of the kinetic characteristics of the sample, and the sorption isotherm reached plateau at much higher urease concentrations in the initial solution. However, in this very sample adsorbed urease retains high activity for 45 days, while in the other samples gradual activity reduction is observed. Product Description popup.authors Бєлякова Л.О.
