Retriever and research: Superhard nitride coatings from single-phase multicomponent high-entropy alloys containing three or more elements. Objective: To obtain and study the physical and mechanical properties, morphology, crystal structure and elemental composition of the nitride coatings from single-phase multicomponent high-entropy alloys containing three or more elements. Research methods: crystal structure and morphology of the films was studied by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, X-ray spectroscopy. Nanocrystalline coatings TiVZrNbHfN, TiZrAlVNbCrN, FeCoNiCuAlCrVN were obtained using the upgraded vacuum-arc setting "Bulat-6." Coating hardness and elastic modulus of coatings were determined using mikroindentora "Micron-Gamma." The data on their surface morphology, crystal structure and phase composition depending on the conditions of formation were obtained. The main results are obtained for the first time, their relevance due to the need to create and study of pilot technologies for applying nanostructured multi-component coatings based on nitrides IV-V groups of the Mendeleev periodic table and their application in machine-building enterprises of Ukraine.
