Purpose of the research - to improve the methods of prevention and treatment of long-term radiation lesions of the skin and radiation fibrosis using photon-magnetic therapy. Theoretical and practical results - it was determined that photon magnetic therapy produced considerable curative and preventive effect on the pathological processes both in the exposed skin of the animals and at the system level. Histological investigation of the exposed skin showed that photon magnetic therapy considerably reduced the degree of inflammatory and destructive phenomena in the derma and hypoderma, improved microcirculation, promoted synthesis of sound collagen fibers. It was proven that photon magnetic therapy normalized hemostasis system with restoration of the balance between coagulation and fibrinolytic chains, positively influenced collagen metabolism, stimulated its synthesis and improved catabolism regulation. Novelty - for the first time it was proven experimentally that photon magnetic therapy produced therapeutic and preventive effect on the pathological processes in the irradiated skin of the animals and at the system level. Efficacy of introduction: photon magnetic effect on the exposed areas of the skin considerably reduced the incidence of radiation dermatitis, accelerated by 1.5 weeks their healing, relieved the course of the wound process, reduced the incidence of the signs of long-term effects of the skin irradiation.
