High antimicrobial activity of Me/SiO2 materials with very low content of silver and copper (0.004 - 0.02% Ag, 0,01 -1% Cu) with respect to the bacteria Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aurous and fungi Candida albicans is revealed, and is seated in line Ag/SiO2> Cu / SiO2> Au/SiO2.
