The purpose of work is to research the dependences of scales of nearwall vortical structures on the parameters of cavities. Experimental modeling of the process of longitudinal vortex structures formation as means of the boundary layer control. TThe research method is a physical experiment, realized in laboratory experimental researches. For measuring of turbulent parameters of velocity and pressure the hydrodynamic channel of Institute of hydromechanics of NASU is utilized, which is equipped the sensors of velocity and pressure, control and measuring apparatus and facilities of analysis and registration. Together with the instrumental measuring visualization of stream is conducted by dyes and serve in the stream of contrasting matters and particles. Statistical and conditional methods are utilized in the systems of treatment and analysis of experimental data, with the use of spatio-temporal cross-correlation and spectral analyses. In the total found out the characteristic features of forming and development of the coherent vortex systems which appear in a boundary layer and near-by heterogeneity on the streamlined surface. Their influence is certain on integral, spectral and cross-correlation descriptions of the field of pressure. It is possible to assert on the basis of the conducted researches, that oval cavities are able to generate steady longitudinal vortex structures, which increase intensity of turbulence in a boundary layer and satiate his vortex structures of preset a parameter, which depend on the mode of flow, form and geometry of cavities, practically.
