The purpose of work is to research the dependences of scales of nearwall vortical structures on the parameters of cavities. Experimental and numerical modeling of the process of longitudinal vortical structures formation as means of the boundary layer control. The method of research is physical and numeral experiment on the analysis of vortical flow structure. In the presented final report, forming of steady longitudinal whirlwind is experimentally confirmed in an oval cavity with basis on the leeward of spherical cavity surface in the considered range of Reynoldsnumbers. Numeral calculations in the considered range of Reynolds numbers at a zero longitudinal gradient of pressure high-quality confirmed the results of the experimental measurings both on the structure (to the scales) of vortical flow and their dependences on the parameters of cavity. It is possible to assert on the basis of the executed researches, that oval cavities are able to generate practically steady longitudinal vortical structures in a turbulent boundary layer. Direction of next researches in relation to modification of cavity form and their locations in relation to a stream, which would help to increase intensity of vortical educations with the maintainance of necessary correlation of scales of boundary layer and sizes of cross-sectional of longitudinal vortical structures, and locations of longitudinal vortical structures, is formulated on a height from the streamlined surface.
