The patients with leukoplakia of urinary bladder (LUB) showed a low index of bacterial infectivity of urine and mucous membrane of uro-genital organs. In the virologic and molecule-genetic examination of biologic materials from the LUB patients herpesvirus, mycoplasma and the grippe virus prevailed. It should be underlined that in species of removed leukoplakia herpesvirus of types I and II and sometimes EBV were isolated. Serologic analysis proved that the isolated virus groups of herpes (HSV-1, HSV-2 and particularly EBV and CMV) were involved into the course of these infections. The analysis of the indexes which specify the state of humoral local (in urine) immunity in the patients showed the essential increase in concentrations of lactoferon, secretory Ig A and secretory component in the CRC patients, that indicated the expressed inflammatory reaction in urinary bladder. The LUB patients largely demonstrated the decrease in C3-component of complement, that testified to the activation of virus infection. By the data of cytogenetic investigations, the pathologic material from the LUB patients contain viruses which stipulate the stage of proliferation of epithelial cultures of cells, cause the essential increase in mitotic index and the level of abnormal mitosis that can lead to the transformation of cells. It was proved that in local injection of herpesvirus type I to the experimental animals, there takes place dissemination of a pathogen into various organs followed by the development of inflammatory process the activity of which elevates with the drop of concentration of an injected virus.
