According to experimental results SEIRA is an effective method for conformation analysis of biological macromolecules. It was shown that rough metal surface can be effectively used to determine the conformation of complex macromolecules (membrane proteins). The spectral differences between the kinetics of binding of different types of lipids: PC, PG-CL and PE with nanostructured gold surface were performed. It was recorded the spectrum of mono membrane protein layer of LacY by using ATR geometry in SEIRA. It was shown that the rough metal surface can be effectively used for the detection of small amount of molecules and determination of conformation state of complex macromolecules (membrane proteins).
