Purpose - to create a system of research procedure and certification of diamond inserts, which will ensure their compliance with specific quality, and also set and display the nature of the stone. This system should protect the interests of community as well as consumers with regard to obtain reliable information about the quality of jewelry with diamonds inserts.. Research methods - search and analytical, optical, ontogenic. Materials considering methods of study both ontogeny and anatomy of natural and synthetic diamonds were examined from information sources during the Period under Review. Preliminary samples investigation of natural and synthetic stones was carried out. Systematization and data processing according ontogeny study of natural and synthetic diamonds were fulfilled. An interim report is prepared. The results of this work are preliminary thereby the implementation is planned after the Project completion.
