Within the reporting period the calibration of spectrometer ElvaX-Light was conducted for identification the chemical composition of minerals, for the first time it was identified garnet's chemical composition and their exact mineralogical names from the SGCU's collection. The creation of database of the chemical composition of precious stones was started. The renewal of library of spectra of X-rays of precious stones and their substitutes was proceeded, the created library has about 700 samples. The work on implementing of instrumental diagnostic of minerals by method of qualitative and quantitative XRF Analysis was carried out in gemological laboratory of SGCU.
