The creation of the working library of infrared spectra of ambers, fossil resins, their substitutes was proceeded. The processing of the results was conducted and the diagnostic criteria of infrared spectra for amber's and fossil resin's identification in accordance with an identification of natural and artificial substitutes, and with a diagnosis of samples that were not identified by other resin's methods were identified.
