Research of sediment distribution on the deposition surface in clarifying devices of sediment type was conducted, that allowed to improve the construction of clarifying centrifuge with cylindrical inserts by creating zones of the first and second degree of purification. Such improvements reduce the probability of flushing sediment from the deposition surface and provide a longer term of a device work in the purification mode. The study of removal of suspension in clarifying centrifuge with ultrafiltration membrane partition was conducted. Rational constructional parameters of this device were justified. Research of initial concentration influence of suspended solids in the water and their dispersed composition was conducted on the power consumption of clarifying centrifuge with cylindrical inserts. The method for calculating the basic parameters of the ultrafiltration: growth in time of head loss and decrease of productivity. The study of rational mode flushing of ultrafiltration membrane plant was conducted. Efficiency of application of clarifying centrifuges with cylindrical inserts for pre-treatment of water was investigated. The possibility of purification of circulation flow and water after flushing the plant of membrane ultrafiltration in clarifying centrifuges was investigated. Recommendations for the application of devices for water clarification in the compact plant were developed.
