The theoretical and methodological basis of management problem assets in the bank's activities are exposed and causes of their appearance and developed an integrated approach to the organization of bank's work with problem assets are distinguished. A place and role of managing problem loans in the overall management system by problem assets of banks are disclosed. Practical recommendations for improving the mechanism for managing problem assets are worked out. Influence of problem assets on stability of bank institutions are analysed. The modern methods of management with the problem assets of the bank, as at the level of all banking system, namely creation of hospital, "bridge " and "bad" banks, so at the level of separate bank in particular are investigational. The value of modern mechanisms of reservation in the management of problem assets of banks is exposed, and also the features of reserving by banks on credit operations are analysed.
