E., Доктор технічних наук Registration Date 29-01-2013 Organization Khmelnytskiy National University popup.description2 The object of study is the process of washing and special finishing of textiles in aqueous and non-aqueous media. The aim of research is the development of scientific bases of treatment of textiles in aqueous and non-aqueous media and the development of scientifically grounded concept of a new effective washing compositions, the improvement of processing technology (laundry, dry cleaning) of textile materials by using the multifunctional compositions on the basis of modern surfactants and nanoparticles which are produced in Ukraine that will improve the quality of the treatment and lower its cost. The methods of research are colloid-chemical, physico-chemical methods and mathematical modeling of complex chemical and technological systems. The novelty and significance of the research results: the thermodynamic approach to determine the mechanism of micelleformation of surfactant in water and nonpolar solvents has been developed. It was determined that unlike in aqueous solutions the micelleformation in the perchloroethylene occurs in a wide range of concentrations and the presence of polar additives (alcohols, water) activates the aggregation process of molecules of surfactants; the regularity of process of solubilization of substances in aqueous and nonaqueous solutions of surfactants. It was shown that molecules of polar alcohols create the mixed micelles with surfactant, increase their hydrophilicity, dielectric constant and solubilizing capacity and thereby increase the ability of the washing compositions by 20 to 25 % during the cleaning of textile materials; for the first time showing the mechanism of interaction between nanoparticles of silicon dioxide and surfactants is studied, which is the adsorption of surfactant molecules on the surface of nanoparticles, the formation of ionic, hydrogen and van der Waals bonds between their functional groups that changes the electrokinetic charge of modified nanoparticles, and allows their use as activators of washing process in aqueous and non-aqueous media; it has been found that physical adsorption of components of elaborated compositions on the fibres occurs according to S- and L-mechanism with formation of the corresponding mono- and bilayers on the surface of fibres and hydrogen bonds with functional groups that promotes the fibre surface modification, regulates their hydrophilicity and provides them the antistatic and soil resistance properties.A new high-performance and universal compositions including washing and cleaning compositions and the technology of their use for processing of textiles in aqueous and non-aqueous media are elaborated. The compositions for the treatment of textile materials are multifunctional and irresource-demanding in comparison with existing analogues Product Description popup.authors
