This goal is realized through the use of mechanical and chemical activation of hBN, which can speed up its transformation into the cubic modification, to increase output and improve the quality of cBN powders during the synthesis of Mg-BN system at high-pressure apparatus (HPA) of a large volume. Experimental data on the synthesis of cBN grinding powders using a pre-activation of the initiator and the initial hBN transformation suggest the possibility of effectively managing the crystallization of cBN, namely, the degree of conversion of hBN to cBN, the fractional composition and mechanical properties of the synthesized grinding powders.
