Purpose - to study the theoretical foundations of the study of European cultural and historical values and praxeological dimension extrapolation European axiology in Ukraine, as well as issues of civilizational choice and Ukrainian national identity. The study identified features of the evolution of cultural and historical values in the light of globalization, by reforming Ukrainian politics, science, education by studying the positive experience of developed European countries, the main routes and areas for implementation of democratic values in the Ukrainian society The study is based on previous collections by artists displayed their publications planned and executed research. The results can be used in the field: science, higher education, politics and government bodies of Ukraine. Research has scientific and theoretical, methodological and practical value and can be extended in the form of these research projects devoted to the study of the phenomenon of cultural and historical values at present, and in the development of analytical and recommendation of materials for the government of Ukraine.
