Aim - to improve morphological diagnostics of ovarian neoplasms with the use of a complex of modern cytological and histological studies.The methods of study: cytological, cytogenetic, immunocytohemical, statistical. Apparatus: microscopes OLYMPUS - СХ 41, ВХ 41. The performed studies have allowed to reveal cytomorphologic, cytogenetic and immunocytochemical patterns of reactive mesothelium and cells of malignant ovarian tumors; to detect a number of differential-diagnostic signs in ascetic fluid materials. The qualitative and quantitative composition and cytogenetic properties of tumor cells from ovarian cancer of different histological types have been studied in surgical materials. There have been revealed morphofunctional types of nucleolar organisers in malignant ovarian tumor cells which evidence on nucleoprotein exchange level related to tumor's malignancy degree. The performed studies are an initial stage of research of morphologic patterns of ovarian neoplasia and are published in an article (1), abstracts (3), report (1). We plan the further study of morphologic patterns of ovarian tumors and implementation of SRA results in laboratory practice for cytological diagnostics.
