Paton Electric Welding Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 As a result, the research found that evaporation of alloying elements, as well as forming the seam, can be controlled via the influence of thermal, hydro and gas-dynamic processes that occur in the weld pool. In particular, the dose supply of heat (use pulse modulation radiation), to ensure smooth flow in the melt bath (additional doping), minimize flare vapors (gas protection or management process in vacuum). In laser welding of steels and titanium alloys with such regimes, for which linear energy lies between 150...1000 J/mm and the power density is not less than 106...107 W/cm2, loss of alloying elements are welded material within the vintage standards suitable materials. For other welding conditions suggested the following technological methods to minimize losses of alloying elements: the use of hybrid laser-arc welding with these modes, which allow to increase the speed of the process, modify its thermal cycle and simultaneously entered in weld pool required alloying elements, reducing teplovkladannya by replacing the continuous laser pulse-periodic radiation with certain forms of pulses and frequencies, reducing energy linear process by increasing the speed (if no threats formation of structures quenching). Tests on samples of corrosion resistance of galvanized steel, welded radiation Nd:YAG-laser, have shown that the best option is to restore burnt after welding coating by combined laser microplasma spraying, which takes place directly during welding.
