The objective of the work is - the development of a new type of product - corundumzirconiasilicate crucibles of new shape type form for heat-proof alloys melting. Research methods are - chemical, physical-mechanical, petrographic, Roentgen-structure.The properties researches of fused alumooxidezirconiasilicate material after heat treatment at temperatures 1500, 1600 and 1700 °C with isometric holding for 2 hours are done and established: exudation temperature of initial glass phase is 1500 °C; regardless of thermal treatment temperature in the insoluble residue the mass fraction of basic oxides Al2O3 and ZrO2 is decreasing and SiO2 is increasing, and the minimum percentage change of basic oxides range take place at temperature 1600 °C, maximum - 1700 °C; significant changes of physical-mechanical properties of the material (open porosity increased in 9 times, apparent density decreased by 11% in comparison with the original) take place after thermal treatment at 1700 °C; with increasing of thermal treatment temperature the structure is changing, but practically is not changing the phase composition of the material, mullite recrystallization occurs temperatures 1500 and 1600 °C, full recrystallization of the material - 1700 °C; after thermal treatment at 1500 and 1600 °C lattice parameters of mullite, witch present in the original material in the form of solid solution with corundum, are increasing, at 1700 °C - are decreasing, but remain below the baseline. The manufacturing technology of a new product - corundumzirconiasilicate crucibles is mastered. Is made using the new shape type form (H - 530 mm, D - 285 mm) of melting crucible and transferred to the test for heat-proof alloys induction melting in a RC "Pratt & Whitney - Paton" pilot batch of corundumzirconiasilicate and corundumpericlase crucibles. Testing crucibles are continuing. Received the intermediate crucibles resistance completely meets to the requirements of technological melting process.Pilot batches of mullitecorundum products for glass-melting furnaces , mullitecorundum, corundumpericlase and corundumzirconiasilicate crucibles for heat-proof alloy induction melting , mullitecorundum boxes and other elements of furnace lining are made.Work should continue in the direction of improving production technology of crucibles for high-proof alloys melting, refractories for glass-melting furnaces and other elements of furnace lining.
