The purpose of the work is determination of chromic oxide fused grainy material obtaining possibility and high refractory chromic oxide with zirconium dioxide addition middle dense products assortment and areas of their application expansion. The research methods are chemical, petrographical, x-ray phasic analysis, standard methods of determination of mass's moisture, apparent density, open porosity, water absorption, cold crushing strength and thermal shock resistance of refractories. Research for producing of chromic oxide fused grainy material by fusion on block method and determination its properties is carried out. Parameters of fusion are determined and fused chromic oxide which is characterized Cr2O3 content 99,0 %, apparent density 4,98 g/sm3 (95,5 % from theoretical density), open porosity 3,2 % and water absorption 0,70 % in main mass of block and possesses coarse-crystalline structure is produced. By crushing, sizing and magnetic separation the fractions 3-1, 1-0,5 and < 0,5 mm, which applicable for determination of possibility their usage in chromic oxide refractories technology are obtained. During output of trial lot products in PJSC "UKRAINIAN RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF REFRACTORIES NAMED AFTER A.S. BEREZHNOY" for the first time technology by semidry pressing method of new kind of production - high refractory chromic oxide with zirconium dioxide addition middle dense products as bushing blocks which intended for glass melting furnaces feeders of sets for manufacture of fiberglass is mastered. Manufactured products are characterized content of Cr2O3 85,4 %, TiO2 4,1 %, ZrO2 6,9 %, open porosity 27,3 %, apparent density 3,75 g/sm3, cold crushing strength 70 N/mm2 and correspond to demands of technical requirements ТУ У 26.2-00190503-340:2011 for ХСФС brand and also possesses high thermal shock resistance - 18 thermal cycles on mode 950 °С - water. The products are gave for usage in manufacturing of fiberglass from E glass. During output of trial lot products in PJSC "UKRAINIAN RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF REFRACTORIES NAMED AFTER A.S. BEREZHNOY" for the first time technology by vibrocasting of new kind of production - high refractory chromic oxide with zirconium dioxide addition middle dense products as glass melting vessels which intended for melting glass balls from alumina-boron-silicate E glass in the time of two stage method of manufacturing of fiberglass is mastered. Manufactured products are characterized content of Cr2O3 85,3 %, TiO2 4,0 %, ZrO2 7,0 %, open porosity 27,1 %, apparent density 3,76 g/sm3, cold crushing strength 70 N/mm2 and correspond to demands of technical requirements ТУ У 26.2-00190503-340:2011 for ХСФС brand and also possesses high thermal shock resistance - 24 thermal cycles on mode 950 °С - water. The products are gave for usage in manufacturing of fiberglass from E glass.
