It was shown that analysis of vibration signals as stochastic ones and use of the invariants of correlation tensor function in such case can create new possibilities to carry out vibration inspection of the mechanic system as a whole without dependence on coordinate system, sufficiently increase diagnostics effectiveness, defect localization and sources selection. The portable diagnostics system of multidimensional inspection VEKTOR was manufactured, algorithms were grounded, software for vibration signals statistical processing was created on the basis of the elaborated method. This system was tested using vibration stand and at multidimensional vibration diagnostics of coal conveyor reducers, the superchargers of the DKS "Dashava" gas-pumping aggregates, the Dobrotvir thermoelectric power station turbogenerators, the LKP "Lvivvodokanal" purification construction equipment elements.
