The object of research is to determine the most effective alternative sources of biodiesel. During report has been established the potential of introduced plants and created a valuable gene pool of high-oil content plants. Has been selected the most productive spring and winter crops as a source of biodiesel (Raphanus var. oleifera sativus L. and Brassica campestris f. biennis DC. х B. rapa L.). Have been defined the biological, ecological, biochemical characteristics of crop's seed and biomass, yield of ethanol and byproducts. Have been created gene pools of high-oil content spring and winter crops (165 taxa). Have been identified the most promising types, forms and breeding specimens of introduced 24 species. Highly productive oilseed varieties Raphanus var. oleifera sativus L. and Brassica campestris f. biennis DC. х B. rapa L. Have been published 11 scientific articles.
