Object of research - the process of determining the most effective non-traditional energy crops (Miscanthus and Panicum virgatum) as a source of bioethanol.Have been characterized the resources of introduced sugar crops of Miscanthus and Panicum virgatum. Have been mobilized a valuable species and forms of plants. Through the breeding and biotechnology has been created the gene pool of Miscanthus (19) and Panicum virgatum (12). Have been defined the biological, ecological, biochemical characteristics of crop's seed and biomass, yield of ethanol and byproducts. Has been estimated the energy potential of plants and related organic compounds.Forms and species of Miscanthus in the time of highest productivity provide19,6 - 30,2 ton per hectare of dry mass, 3716 - 5440 litter per hectare of ethanol and 74,7 - 113,3 Gcal per hectare of energy acquired from above-ground mass. Whereas, Panicum virgatum provide 14,6-21,9 ton per hectare of dry mass, 3582-5110 litter per hectare of ethanol and 61,2-91,5 Gcal per hectare of energy acquired from above-ground mass. We have developed four new methods of expertizing Miscanthus and Panicum virgatum based on the crops differences, uniformities and stabilities. The 6 scientific works.
