Methods of research - the study is based on modern approaches for acquisition data which are relies on processing by means of computer technologies. Analysis and generalization of an information have been done using methods of mathematical statistics, i.e. mathematical modeling, correlation and regression analysis. Interpretation of remote sensing data has been done in combination of mathematical approaches and computer classification. As a result of research scientific principles of application of remote sensing data and statistical inventory have been developed. Their can be used to improve forest-park landscapes of green zones management and urban forest assessment. Optimal parameters of satellite images and specifics of their interpretation for complex urban and peri-urban forest assessment have been determined.
