Experimental facility consists of a plasma source, bases on the concept of coaxial quasi-steady-state plasma accelerator of new generation in a magnetic field, the vacuum system, power and control system. The power supply system bases on capacitive storage with a maximum voltage of 40 kV and a full energy up to 1.5 MJ was designed and built. The scheme of switching was developed that allow for effective variation of pulse duration and to achieve a new level of energy and corpuscular loads on the surface of materials. It were designed and manufactured vacuum system with a total volume of 4.5 m3, including the vacuum chamber of the plasma accelerator, booster volume and camera solenoid magnetic field, and 2 diagnostic chamber. Further physical launch and setting into operation a new experimental setup for the radiation-beam exposure allow to achieve a new previously unexplored range of corpuscular-power loads on the surface of materials to create new methods of modification of the surface layers of structural materials for nuclear and thermonuclear power engineering for improvement their properties.
