They enable to invariant describe of the initiation of fatigue macrocrack in notched specimens of different shape. It is shown that the degradation of the properties of the long-term exploited aluminum alloy type D16 and B95 reflects primarily on reducing their plasticity and crack growth resistance characteristics. This is due to changes in their fine structure and fracture micromechanism, depending on the loading level of the aircraft structural elements. It has the capability to adjustment the influence of the gap changing by interpreting the signal in the complex plane. Research conducted at the operating frequencies from 200 Hz to 4 kHz, showed that it can detect defects at a depth of 6 mm.
