It's based on proposed analytical profiling methods of blades for axial and radial-axial turbine stages and numeral modelling method of three-dimensional viscous turbulent steam flows. Basic geometrical and gas-dynamic parameters for operating modes of the first two stages of high-pressure cylinder of steam-turbine К-325-23,5 are presented. The results of design improvement are presented and increase of running part gas-dynamic efficiency for nominal and partials operating modes is proved. On basis of such modernization the estimation and numerical research of an opportunity of the first radial-axial stage variable guide vanes use for improvement of maneuverable characteristics of the turbine are completed. It is supposed, that in the future the executed development will be introduced on all new power steam turbines.
