The composition, microstructure, mechanical (?b=380-1240 MPa, HRA83-91) and tribotechnical (I=2-18 µm/km, f = 0,14-0,3) properties of the materials above have been studied. The coatings of these materials 40Kh steel have been obtained. It has been established that the content of metallic phase in the electrode material increased the mass-transfer and thickness of coating. The coatings obtained have been wear-tested under the dry friction conditions with various speeds (V=4-12 m/s) and loads (P=0,5-5 MPa). They have the high wear resistance (I = 1-7 mm/km).The optimum content of metallic phase in the electrodes is equal to 50%. The developed coatings proved to be promising the once for a strengthening of surfaces of the machine parts in paper, textile and metallurgical industry.
