Purpose: Based on detection of internal irradiation doses formation features scientifically substantiate the measures to reduce internal irradiation doses due to 137Cs and 90Sr intake in population from contaminated regions in long-term period after ChNPP accident. Methods: dosimetric (instrumental and estimated), radiochemical. Results: WBC measurements resulted high enough levels of incorporated 137Cs in residents from inspected settlements. Considerable part of residents from inspected settlements has doses exceeded 1.0 mSv · year-1 (18 % of all inspected persons who are inhabitants from Raghivka village of Kyiv oblast (2010), 9% inhabitants from Vezhytsya village from Rivne oblast (2011), 5% inhabitants from Motiyky and Selets village of Zhitomir oblast (2012)). In the same time there is a season features of internal irradiation doses formation. WBC monitoring resulted the autumn's internal irradiation levels (October) are 2-3 times the May ones in the high-yielded years for forest products such as mushrooms and berries. The internal irradiation doses formation advanced analysis of different categories of population demonstrated that incorporated 137Cs specific activity for children is 1.2 - 2.5 times lower then the one for adults in the inspected settlements that may be explained by more careful approach to children nutrition. Men had it 1.2-2.8 times higher than women because of, firstly, man has more amount of muscle tissue tan woman and secondly, men are freer in a diet choice. Radiochemical analysis for residents from inspected settlements detected same time 90Sr content in urine is very low, its value is almost at sensitivity level that is due to peculiarities of fall-outs over the West trace which is poor in 90Sr. Foodstuffs from the abovementioned settlements were inspected for 90Sr and 137Cs twice (in spring and autumn). It have been found out the principal part of internal irradiation dose in residents from inspected settlements in Rivne and Zhitomyr oblasts is formed through the food intake of locally produced and planted products by farming (milk, nature and forest originated berries and mushrooms). For residents from inspected settlements in Kyiv oblast where radionuclides content in milk and potatoes far lower accessible levels pointed in Hygienic standards ГН 6.6. 1. 1-130-2006 the principal part of internal irradiation dose is formed due to forest origin products consumption. 137Cs content in dried mushrooms samples that are traditionally met and eaten in those regions, dozen times over accessible levels.
