Aim of work : to study influence of genetic factors on sterility in a remote period after Chornobyl accident. Research methods: clinical, cytologic, cytogenetic, statistical. At two groups of women - with normal (32 women), and anomalous karyotype (19 women) - made a comparison of types of sterility and indexes of embryology protocols. For men in analogical groups (29 that 19 men, accordingly) compared the indexes of spermatogenesis. It is shown that in the group of women with chromosomal anomalies (ChA) excelled idiopathic sterility, while in a group with normal karyotype a stake of women was greater with pipe-peritoneal sterility. Comparison of indexes of embryology protocols of two groups of women showed the increase of level of abnormal fertilization in vitro in the group of women with ChA, while other indexes did not differ. For men ChA were related to the considerable worsening of indexes of spermatogenesis, such as an amount of spermatozoa, their mobility and morphology, that results in the decline of fertility or to sterility. ChA spectrum is brought, that were educed at the inspection of infertil couples.
