Proposed is the mechanism of concentration fluctuations of carbon in austenite during heating at temperatures of bainite transformation. The results of the calculated and experimental time of transformation of austenite at different isothermal temperatures are given, and the carbon content of bainitic ferrite is determined. Provided is the general concept of the heat treatment, which must secure a planned complex of properties of high carbon low-alloy steels.
