Subjects of the research are creations of the most notable representatives of Kyiv's schools of spiritual and academic philosophy and theology. A goal of the work is to order and to prepare for print the world humanities' very first encyclopedic edition of "Philosophical and theological thought in Kyiv Theological Academy (1819-1924): A biobibliographical dictionary" based on integral and systematic reconstruction and analysis of the creations of the most notable representatives of Kyiv spiritual and academic and theological thought of XIX - early XX; creation the source base of scientific researches of Ukrainian philosophical and theological thoughts of XIX - early XX century's history. Research methods: a complex of general scientific, hermeneutic, cultural, comparative methods, implemented based on historicism, dialogism and tolerance. Theoretical and practical results, scientific novelty: 1) The first integral scientific reconstruction of life and creations of the most notable philosophers and theologians of Kyiv Theological Academy (1819-1924) was performed; their achievements in fields of philosophical and theological sciences were determined; a source base for study of philosophical and theological heritage of Kyiv Theological Academy was formed; biobibliographical dictionary "Philosophical and theological thought in Kyiv Theological Academy" was prepared to print according to the results of the research. 2) The first complex reconstruction and systematical analysis of philosophical and pedagogical heritage of Kyiv spiritual and academic and university thinkers of XIX - early XX centuries in history of historical and philosophical science was conducted; their considerable role in development of homeland philosophy of education was determined; institutional, methodological and ideological principles of philosophical and pedagogical discourse in Kyiv academic tradition's development were determined; contents of its fundamental categories were revealed; a doctoral dissertation of based on its results was defended: Kuzmina S. L. Skovoroda's Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. - Kyiv, 2011. 3) The first in theological science complex scientific reconstruction of Kyiv tradition of orthodox and academic research and teaching of Bible of XIX - early XX was conducted; a scientific monograph was published based on its results: Holovaschenko S. I. Research and teaching the Bible in Kyiv Theological Academy of the nineteenth - early twentieth century : Мonograph. - Kyiv : Study Department of Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 2012. - 356 р. (in Ukrainian). Results of the research have been implemented: 1) in practice of teaching and development of educational and methodical complexes of normative disciplines "Religion Study", "Bible Study", "History of Christianity", "Academic philosophy in Kyiv XIX - early XX century", "History of Ukrainian philosophy" at the National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy"; 2) in practise of teaching of normative disciplines "St. Scripture of the Old Testament", "St. New Testament", "History of Kyiv Theological Academy", "History of domestic religious thought" in Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary (Ukrainian Orthodox Church). The results of the research work may be further implemented in practice of teaching of philosophical and theological disciplines at higher education institutions; researches and development in fields of humanities and social sciences; activities of libraries, reading rooms, lectures.
