Aim of the work is to create a methodology of the machining process control, which makes it possible to keep the initial physical and mechanical properties of the workpiece metal with submicro-and nanocrystalline structure by means of defining the field of reasonable technological parameters of edged processing. The methods of the investigation are based on the scientific principles of the theory of cutting materials and thermalphysic laws, materials science, solid state physics and the theory of disperse systems. Practical results of the investigation is the development of reasonable methods for determining the parameters of machining nanomaterials that makes it possible to keep the initial structure of the workpiece metal and create products with new in essense operating ability. In particular, the proposed developments can be applied in mechanical engineering and aircraft construction, pharmaceutical and medical-biological industries. Predictive assumptions on the object of the investigation is further study of the influence of machining parameters on the structure of materials with nano-and submicrocrystalline structure, optimization of processing modes, study of high-speed cutting for machining nanomaterials.
