A purpose of work is the development of the theory and of the methods of planning on the basis of the numerical-field method for perfection of existing and for creation of new electric machines and vehicles, and also system of training of specialists. Research methods are a mathematical simulation, the numerical-field methods, use of electric and thermal replacement scheme. For development of the planning methods the new solutions of the tasks of the highest complexity deserve attention, such as the numerical-field analysis, harmonic analysis EMF and power co-operations in turbogenerators, perfection them weight and size parameters, dynamic process of work of linear impulsive engine, research of the thermal state of asynchronous engine, analysis of factors of increase of engine torque with a rolling rotor, theory and practice of development of electric contacts of increased arc resistance. Efficiency of the offered approach consists in high accuracy of the got results and in universalism in relation to any types of electric machines and vehicles. It can draw on results of scientific developments in electrical machinery construction for the increase of efficiency of the planning systems of different types of electric machines, creations of electric contacts of increased arc resistance, and also for preparation of specialists.
