Karazin popup.description2 The goal is to develop the methods of calculating the characteristics of neutron radiation around VSC and total dose fields, including with gamma-rays, on-site storage DSSNF. To improve the economic efficiency of nuclear fuel at ZNPP new fuel are trained to use with higher burn-up. This neutron radiation fields of individual casks, loaded with SNF with increased burn-up and reduce the influence of gamma radiation due to shading by other containers not fully investigated. The object of the research - the field of radiation (gamma rays and neutrons) that occur in the dry storage of spent nuclear fuel loading with higher burn-up fuel and consistent filling area of DSSNF. The method of study is computer simulation of radiation from loaded cask, calculations and analysis of the impact of the output characteristics of spent fuel radiation on further safety of the storage. Because the tasks of the final phase of the project elaborated methodology for determining the neutron yield by spontaneous fission of actinides and ( , n) reactions it was completed updating model of surface-radiating cylinder and scattering model developed in the form of complex targets absorbing and reflecting cylinders of concrete. The method of calculation of doses of neutrons and gamma-rays inside the rows of casks filled with spent nuclear fuel and calculations of the total dose fields around the cask and inside the rows of VSC has been worked out. Comparison was done of absorbed doses calculated by different methods both outside and inside the radiation protective wall. Found a slight overestimation (~ 1.5 times) calculated data on the measurements, confirming the conservatism of the approach and the validity of conclusions regarding not exceed permissible doses to personnel and the environment during operation DSSNF.
