Aim - setting characteristics of surface layers based on oxides of lead and titanium. Research methods - stationary and cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry, potentiometry, linear sweep voltammetry, gravimetry, coulometry. It was determined that the electrochemical properties of platinized titanium electrodes depend greatly on the fomation conditions of materials, i.e. the quantity of deposited platinum and treatment temperature. Comprehensive data on influence of electrochemically inert particles of the dispersed phase on kinetics of electrodeposition of lead dioxide suspension of electrolytes were obtained. It was shown that nanoscale particles of PbO2 increase of deposition rate due to formation of additional reaction centers. The advanced colloid-electrochemical mechanism of composite materials formation based on lead dioxide was proposed.
