Galkin Physics and Engineering Institute of National Academy of Science of the Ukraine popup.description2 Clarifying theoretical studies of the magnetocaloric systems MnFeAsyP(1-y) and Mn(2-x)FexAs0.5P0.5 are conducted on the basis of first-principles calculations of the spin-polarized electronic structure and model-based approach in order to determine the causes of different way of formation of magnetically ordered phases in the anion and cation substitution in systems MnFeAsyP(1-y) and Mn(2-x)FexAs0.5P0.5. It is shown that changing of the type of magnetically ordered state in the system with cation substitution Mn(2-x)FexAs0.5P0.5 with decreasing concentrations of iron caused a significant decrease in electronic filling d-zone. AF phase stabilization at reducing concentration of arsenic in the system with an anionic substitution MnFeAsyP(1-y) with increasing concentrations of phosphorus against the conservation population of d-zone may be the result of expansion of the electron density of states, due to a decrease in volume of the unit cell. These results are important in terms of new knowledge in the field of the physics of magnetic phenomena.
