Aim of research is realization of research with experimental unit for definition of features of medical waste utilization and optimization of unit's work.Method of research is experimental studies.Results of research - typical compound of medical waste is analyzed, energy potential of certain components of waste is determined. Own classification of waste for thermal utilization is suggested. Typical samples of waste for reasons of this classification are made and experiments of waste utilization are carried out on experimental unit.During experiments ecological rates of unit's work are identified. Experimental data of pollutants in the air of working area and ecological rates of unit's work are received. It is researched that during unit's work there are short-term rises of temperature after loading of waste into preliminary chamber; in this situation regulated air lack gives an opportunity for higher generation of products of incomplete oxidation, decreasing consumption of main flue on 7-12%.On the ground of carried experiments on experimental unit, built by own scheme, safety of unit's exploitation for staff and environment is determined.
