The aim of the project is the synthesis, studies of the structure and properties of novel nanocomposite materials based on carbon to create on their basis of a new class of composite fairings and compartments promising launch vehicles. Research methods: X-ray fluorestsentnyts analysis, secondary ion mass spectrometry, laser energomass spectrometry, high-resolution scanning and transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffractometry and X-ray strain measurement in normal and sliding geometry, nanoindentation, etc. The fundamental research on the characteristics of deriving a new class of carbon-containing nanocomposite materials, their composition, structure and properties are carried out. A new superhard carbon material - nanocomposite consisting of orienting the graphite diamond nanocrystals and the amorphous matrix are synthesized and characterized.
