Aim of the work on the whole - substantiation and selection of the scheme and creation of the ДАХ breathing apparatus, chemically oxygen type, with the indicator of the use of the regenerative cartridges. Method of investigation - laboratory tests of the breathing apparatus and of the indicator of the use of the regenerative cartridges at the test bench simulating the external respiration of a man; investigations in climatic chambers and at mechanical test benches; investigation of the breathing conditions with the participation of the man under laboratory and mine conditions by various breathing loads. Results of investigations and their novelty - as a result of the work carried out scheme of the breathing apparatus, oxygen supply source, type of a starter with substitution of the initiating liquid (sulphuric acid solution instead of water) were chosen in an analytical way. The novelty of the work consists in the use of a non-corrosive material for production of body parts of the breathing apparatus as well in the use of accumulators and design of the indicator of the use of the regenerative cartridges. By fulfilment of the work the patent and informational investigations were carried out, thanks to which the scheme and working drawings of the experimental model of the breathing apparatus and of the indicator of the use of the regenerative cartridges were developed. After carrying-out the prequalification and acceptance tests of the experimental model the design documentation for full-scale production of the breathing apparatus was worked out. Forecast of development of the production object - serial production of the breathing apparatus for delivery to sub-divisions of the State Para-military Mine-rescue Service.
