Paton Electric Welding Institute popup.description2 The complex of common theoretical and experimental researches is sent to establishment of basic conformities to law of co-operation of laser radiation, microplasma arc and particles of finely dispersible metallic powder, and also them the combined operating on the surface of processed metal has been carried out. Within the framework of this project by the Ukrainian side the mathematical models of processes of heat and mass transfer in the area of treatment at laser-microplasma powder cladding have been worked out and corresponding software, which allows forecasting the process of forming of cladding layer and thermal state of processed metal, has been created. These models, which use got the Russian side results of solution of problems of kinetics and gas-dynamics of dusty plasma, heating and melting of particles of powder, have been lay down basis of complex mathematical model of process of laser-microplasma cladding. Leaning on fact of proving of synergetic action of laser radiation and micro-plasma on processing metal and modelling of cladding layer formation the initial conditions of new technology process - laser-micro-plasma powder cladding have been developed.
