It is found that the existing methods of water purification require high reagents costs, energy costs, large areas under treatment facilities; urgency of the problem of using the galvanic coagulation method for wastewater purification is disclosed. The patterns of motion of gas-steam-air plume after it exhaust from the chimney - cooling towers are considered. The characteristics of its spread in the atmosphere are determined. The dependences of the lifting height of gas-steam plume from the chimney- cooling tower of the temperature and of the flow rate of flue gases, as well as the method of organization of the input of the gas flow in the cooling tower are obtained.
