Purpose - development of the efficient methods for the synthesis of organic-inorganic nanocomposite materials containing lanthanide complexes with beta-diketones, polydentate aminopolicarboxylic acids and modified calix[4]arenes and porphyrins on various inorganic carriers, study of their structural and photophysical characteristics and setting influence of the type of inorganic matrix on the efficiency of 4f-luminescence of lanthanide ions in the near-infrared range. Methods for the synthesis of hybrid organic-inorganic and polymeric materials doped with lanthanide-containig complexes that show luminescence in the infrared region, based on acyclic and macrocyclic ligands were developped. A modification of trialkoxysilane polydentate donor groups derived beta-diketones, aminopolicarboxylic acids, calix[4]arenes and porphyrins capable of further coordination of lanthanide-containing compounds. With the use of sol-gel method silica nanoparticles containing lanthanide complexes, anchoring both the inorganic matrices of different nature (silica or aluminum oxides), and the polymeric carriers were obtained. Immobilization was held by covalent interactions, optimal conditions for obtaining monodisperse nanoparticles were found. The analysis of the photophysical characteristics lanthanide containing materials and the influence on them of luminescent block structure and nature of media was investigated as well as photo- and chemical stability derived systems.
