It is possible to make a conclusion, based on correlation analysis, that it is not necessary to determine the all the components of natural gas for determination of its caloric value, but it is enough to determine the speed of ultrasonic distribution in gas, the content of carbon dioxide and nitrogen. The survey of the offered control method of natural gas energy characteristics with the help of artificial neuron algorithms proved the correlation analysis results. The methodology of experimental survey, concerning control methods of natural gas energy characteristics was elaborated, the aim of which is determination of the correlation between energy characteristics and physical and chemical parameters.
