The complexing abilities of new derivatives of calixarene for cations of some s- and d-elements were established. It was found that bis(p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene)-mono(N'-acetyl)hydrazide was obtained in almost quantitative yield by refluxing of mono(hydrazinocarbonylmethoxy)-p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene in alcohol solution.
