By titrimetric, spectro-photometric and luminescent methods it is established, that for extraction of oxide impurity phases at the material analysis of materials on the basis of zinc sulphide of and fluorides of magnesium and lanthanides solutions of an acetic acid (for ZnO), ammonium sulphate of (for MgO) and sodium citrate (for europium and terbium oxides) are perspective. Schemes of the chemical substance analysis of products of interaction in systems ZnO-LnSF and MgO-LnSF, based on "sulphide testing" which allow to find out and quantitatively to establish contents of various forms of sulphur, Ln (II), to count mass fractions oxo-sulphide and polysulphide phases, are developed. On the basis of these schemes techniques of definition of chemical forms of the basic and impurity components are developed. Results of the carried out chemical analysis of various systems confirm efficiency of use of lanthanide sulphido-fluorides as sulphidising and fluoridising additives to materials based on ZnS (MgF2). The technique of indirect spectro-photometric definitions of Eu (II) by means of potassium permanganate in Europium fluoride, a product of its solubility in chloride melt, Europium substituted strontium apatite is offered. Results of tests of the new film-forming materials received in offered systems ZnS-LaSF and MgF2-LaSF, confirm substantial improvement of their optical and technical characteristics.
