Report on research: 99 pages, 69 figures, 6 tables, 1 annex, 31 sources. The object of study is surface and underground waters of the Southern Crimea. The objective of the work is the development of proposals to address the problem of water supply of the Crimea and the mitigation of dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena in the region. The data collector for coastal currents in a thin surface layer of the sea is field tested for the purpose of estimation of the amount of submarine discharge of drinking water. The ecological status of coastal waters of South Coast of Crimea is studied by the example of Yalta bay. The water regime of the river Chermaya is studied to make recommendations on the rational use and conservation of natural resources in the Sevastopol region. The simulation of atmospheric circulation in the region of Southern Crimea is done for the cases of synoptic situations with extreme rainfall, and the modeling of techniques of active protection against extreme floods is performed for the mountain rivers of the Southern Crimea.
