On the basis of the method authors had developed a new scientific approach to determining the effectiveness of heat and electricity production in the combined cycle. The method of fuel costs separating is based on definition of the integral criterion that characterizes the efficiency of fuel resources usage in the alternative consumer scheme. Investigations of thermal schemes and heating systems performance indexes while using alternative energy sources for the various heat loads. Appropriate design techniques are suggested. The developed technique gives an opportunity to analyze the most appropriate options for heat and electricity supply for different types of customers with available resources and potential for development, both the region and the country.
