Gender analysis in its most broad interpretation is a huge interdisciplinary field, encompassing socio-economic, demographic, sociological, cultural, political, psychological problems, and has specific outputs on everyday social processes. Particularly relevant these studies are to society transformed. Deep understanding of how to manifest and changing gender forms in relation to social, political and economic changes and how gender relations are reproduced and changed over time in different spheres of social life, can be the basis for the development of mechanisms of influence on social processes, and thus - an effective tool not only modernization of Ukrainian society in general, but also to address specific social problems. The object of research within the theme "Gender transformation of society: sociological, psychological and political aspects" were gender roles, gender stereotypes and the settings in the Ukrainian society and their expression in specific areas of public life. The subject of the study were theoretical and methodological trends in gender issues, as well as the development and transformation of gender stereotypes and attitudes, and assessment of the impact of gender factors on the dynamics of social processes in Ukraine. Objective: to make a comprehensive analysis of transformation processes in Ukrainian society through the lens of gender analysis and to study the mechanisms of influence of gender factors on the development of social processes. Achieving the goals articulated research necessitated solving the following tasks: - analyze the theoretical origins of gender issues and areas of interdisciplinary scientific knowledge on gender; - analyze the situation of women and men through their gender roles in such spheres of politics, economics, culture, family, and the transformation of these roles influenced the modernization process; - to monitor gender situation in certain areas of public life, particularly in terms of gender inequality; - draft sociocultural constraints ways manifestation of gender roles in contemporary Ukrainian society and to identify possible mechanisms to overcome such limitations; - determine the optimal mechanisms of gender-sensitive environment on the example of the university. Educational goal: to spread knowledge of gender, highlighting gender issues and its interpretation in interdisciplinary cut, the inclusion of gender parity in education and training process.
