By XRD it was found the formation of monoclinic copper oxide - tenorite in the CuO/SiO2 nanocomposites, synthesized using copper acetylacetonate as the precursor. A new variant of the sol-gel synthesis of doped CuO nanoparticles of xerogel samples and silica glass has been developed, which provides for the introduction of copper-containing highly dispersible silicas as fillers and the dopant in the alkoxide formed sol.
